Shop by what the car costs every month.
LotGauge searches current used-vehicle inventory, checks the evidence behind each candidate, and shows only the cars whose estimated loan payment plus your insurance fits your monthly budget, lowest monthly cost first.
A sticker price doesn’t tell you if a car fits. Your monthly number does.
LotGauge turns every car’s price into your monthly cost — with your down payment, APR, term, taxes, fees and insurance estimate — and only shows the cars that fit your target.
Looks close. Doesn’t fit.
Fits your budget.
Matches are ranked like a decision tool, not a classifieds page.
The preview below mirrors the seven evidence and value blocks in an actual LotGauge result: listing, VIN, accident history, title history, price source, market value and tax estimate. The sample numbers are illustrative, not vehicle-history findings or live offers.

Search → verify → calculate → rank.
LotGauge turns a long list of used-car listings into a smaller set of vehicles you can actually evaluate.
Choose your models, mileage, features and distance. LotGauge looks for matching inventory across available sources.
See which exact VIN and listing were checked. Title and accident findings have separate labels, so unknown evidence stays unknown.
Include financing, trade equity, insurance, estimated taxes and fees before you walk into the finance office.
See the cars that fit your monthly target first, instead of getting distracted by listings you cannot comfortably afford.
See what LotGauge actually checked.
A vehicle can have a current listing without having verified accident or title evidence. LotGauge keeps those signals distinct.
LotGauge checks whether the vehicle-specific source still appears current before presenting it as a match.
The VIN stays attached through discovery and verification so evidence remains tied to the specific vehicle.
LotGauge keeps reported accident/damage evidence separate from title status. When history is unknown, the result says so instead of implying the vehicle is accident-free.
Title status comes from the seller's listing or a vehicle-history source. Branded, salvage, rebuilt, flood and lemon disclosures stay visible, and cars with no title evidence are labeled “Title not verified.”
Your financing assumptions are for finding your car. Not selling you as a lead.
LotGauge doesn't request a bank login, Social Security number, income documents or credit report. The free public calculator runs its math in your browser. If you save a search, LotGauge retains the payment, insurance and budget assumptions needed to rank vehicles and send the alerts you request—we do not sell those assumptions to dealerships, lenders or data brokers.
Pro subscription checkout is handled by Stripe; LotGauge does not receive your full payment card number. Read our Privacy Policy for details about account data, service providers and potential advertising cookies.

Clear assumptions. Clear limits.
LotGauge combines vehicle inventory sources and publicly available dealer or marketplace listings, then checks candidate-specific URLs, VINs, specifications and available history evidence. Coverage varies by region; no inventory source can guarantee every vehicle is listed.
No. The estimated monthly total uses your saved down payment, APR, term, trade equity, tax and fee assumptions, plus your insurance estimate. Confirm actual price, lender offer and insurance quote before buying.
No bank login, Social Security number, income documents or credit check are required. The free calculator runs in your browser; only assumptions you choose to save with a search are retained for matching and alerts. We do not sell those saved assumptions to dealers, lenders or data brokers.
It doesn’t guess your exact premium. You enter an insurance estimate and can replace it with a real quote whenever you have one.
No. Unknown accident history stays unknown, and title status is evaluated separately. A clean title is never treated as proof that the vehicle has no accident or damage history.
Free includes 5 live searches with one or more matches per month, with a maximum of one counted search every 24 hours. Zero-match and failed searches do not use one of your 5 monthly searches, but Free allows up to 3 live search attempts per 24 hours, whether or not they find matches.
Pro removes the monthly manual-search count limit (fair use: up to 10 live searches a day; the automatic daily scan doesn't count toward it), expands search distance up to Nationwide U.S., adds daily monitoring, Saved Cars, and alert summaries.
